The Hungate Singers are now preparing two pieces for one of the Choral Classes in The Lincoln Drama and Music Festival, and long-standing festival which has become an annual highlight of Lincoln`s cultural year.

On Saturday April 6th, at St Nicholas, Newport, an ad hoc group called The Lindum Consort is presenting a concert passiontide music, from the 16th to the 20th century.  The music will be punctuated by readings of modern poetry.  The title of the concert is “The Ballad of the Breadman”, after the opening poem by Charles Causley.   Entry is free with a retiring collection.
